Toast!

Is toast back, has it become popular again? You can get cheese on toast at Rough Trade and even Dishoom offers a Chilli Cheese Toast - Cheddar melt on white bloomer. I keep meeting people who are so anti toast and anti carbs - it's become so fashionable and almost a bit of a status symbol to say oh I haven't eaten carbs for 6 months...but of course they still drink alcohol (it is fashion after all). Anyway after a lengthy discussion with friends we concluded that nothing beats cheese on toast. Of course everyone has their unique favourite which included toasted crumpets with butter, Marmite and cheddar cheese but not melted. It all sounds good to me!
