Sarah Angold - '21st Century Armour'

At Premiere Classe in Paris there are so many wonderful accessories, and most of them fall under some very clear trends but after a while they can all start to look a little bit too similar so it's refreshing to see pieces that stand out from the crowd. You can't help but notice Sarah Angold's work this season - she's been on most people's radar for a quite few seasons but this season the collection, which still has her signature architectural style, was lighter, easier to wear and more accessible. Unfortunately my images don't do her work justice as it's very eye catching and plays with the reflection of light - the different background colour insets she uses each create unique refracted colours. The handmade pieces are lighter and easier to wear than you might think - but it feels like you're wearing a piece of art.
