Boxpark Shoreditch opens Saturday December 3!

I've been looking forward to the opening of Boxpark for some time now. I was quite curious to see what it was really going to be like, and the wait's over! It opens tomorrow and will have over 60 brands. It's located opposite Shoreditch House and Shoreditch High Street station and the space has been unused for 40 years. Boxpark is actually a pop up mall and can literally pop up anywhere in the world as all the compartments can be moved. There are quite a few interesting retailers and because shops can have a one-year lease for up to 5 years it allows for some unusual brands like Onepiece. There are lots of streetwear brands - 55DSL, Nike, Puma, Lacoste L!ve, Dockers, Luke, ONETrueSaxon, New Era, Vans, Oakley, The North Face and Etnies, which is not surprising since Roger Wade, the founder of Boxfresh, came up with the Boxpark concept.

On the second level there are loads of food shops and picnic tables and benches. The whole space has a modern market feel. It's just interesting to see how everyone has designed their 'boxes' and created their own unique look.

At Nike you can buy a pair of Nike ID shoes downstairs and watch them get made upstairs. Nike has one of the biggest 'boxes' 1 downstairs and 4 boxs upstairs.

How cute is this shop - Onepiece, which sells cozy jumpsuits and they're actually cool!
